I present to you Petey Piranha!
Finishing off the head wasn’t the smoothest experience. There were no lines to indicate where to insert the petals on the head, so I had to guess where to cut. It was…. an interesting process. After a horror film-esque slicing with my rusty x acto knife and some sloppy gluing, I managed to get (almost) all of the petals jammed into the head. Needless to say, there’s a reason as to why you can’t see the back of Petey’s poor head!
So like most of my people papercrafts, they don’t stand on their own. This guy actually came pretty close to standing by himself, but I was a bit lazy with his legs.
I think this is a great beginner papercraft! The details are fun and the colors are vibrant. This may seem like an odd thing to mention, but a lot of papercrafts I’ve done recently use dull coloring.
I highly recommend people sit down and tackle this with a crispy cider
